Summary

If a person is convicted of violating section 932 or 933, they must give up to the United States any property that came from the crime and any property used, or meant to be used, to commit or help commit the crime, even if state law would say otherwise. For forfeiture of firearms or ammunition, section 924(d) applies. The court must order this when it sentences the person. A convicted person can also be fined up to the larger of the usual fine allowed under this part or an amount equal to twice the total gross profits or other proceeds from the offense.
