Effective Date
of 2008 Amendment Pub. L. 110–178, § 6(c), Jan. 7, 2008, 121 Stat. 2554, provided that: “The

Effective Date
of 2007 Amendment Pub. L. 110–161, div. H, title I, § 1004(f)(3), Dec. 26, 2007, 121 Stat. 2236, which provided that the

Effective Date
of 2001 Amendment Pub. L. 107–68, title II, § 208(b), Nov. 12, 2001, 115 Stat. 587, provided that: “The amendment made by subsection (a) [amending this section] shall take effect upon the date on which the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and Senate approve a report submitted to the Committees by the Librarian of Congress which describes the guidelines and policies applicable to the hosting of special events and programs by the Librarian which are covered under
section 102(a)(4) of the Library of Congress Fiscal Operations Improvement Act of 2000 [2 U.S.C. 182b(a)(4)] (as added by subsection (a)).”
