Title 2 › Chapter CHAPTER 55— - HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OFFICERS AND ADMINISTRATION › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER III— - CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER › § 5535
The Chief Administrative Officer of the House must send a detailed, itemized report to the House within 60 days after each half-year ends. The half-years are January 1–June 30 and July 1–December 31 each year, starting with the half-year when this rule takes effect. Each report must list who was paid, the amounts, quantities and prices of items bought, descriptions of services (how long they took and who did them, with titles and pay), totals of money appropriated, received, spent, and any balances, the data sent to the Comptroller General under 31 U.S.C. 3523(a), and any extra information the House Oversight Committee requires. If a payment is for a person who testified in an executive-session committee, the report for that half-year may show only the payment date, voucher number, and amount; the rest goes in the next report. Every report must be printed as a House document. Certain other House rules (sections 102, 103, 104, and 4108 of this title) also apply.
