Title 20 › Chapter CHAPTER 70— - STRENGTHENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER III— - LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION FOR ENGLISH LEARNERS AND IMMIGRANT STUDENTS › Part Part A— - English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement Act › Subpart subpart 2— - accountability and administration › § 6845
Says these rules do not stop a local school or school district from teaching English learners together with other students who have similar needs, in the same classes when that is appropriate. They also do not force a state or local school to start, keep, or end any specific kind of program for English learners. And they do not limit keeping or using Native American languages.
