Provide money to groups so they can train and help state education departments and local school districts. The goal is to build strong, school-wide family engagement programs that improve student development and academic success and to strengthen connections between parents and their children’s schools. Help states, districts, schools, teachers, parents, and community groups work together. Coordinate this work with parent involvement programs under section 6318 and with other Federal, State, and local services, and help the Secretary and education agencies align these efforts.
