Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 21— - SETTLEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - VESTING AND LIQUIDATION OF BULGARIAN, HUNGARIAN, AND RUMANIAN PROPERTY › § 1631l
Before putting money from selling property into the Treasury under section 1631a(a), the President’s designee must do two things. He must figure how much of his administrative costs relate to handling the property and may keep that amount, plus up to the actual costs of preserving, maintaining, or taxing the property, from the proceeds. He must also confirm that the time to start a suit under section 1631f(a), to file a notice of claim under section 1631f(b), and to file debt claims under section 1631g has passed.
