Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 48— - TAIWAN RELATIONS › § 3304
For three years starting April 10, 1979, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation must not let the $1,000 per-person income limit stop it from providing insurance, reinsurance, loans, or guarantees for investment projects in Taiwan. Apart from that three-year rule, the Corporation must use the same rules for Taiwan that it uses for other countries when deciding on such support.
