Title 22 › Chapter CHAPTER 78— - TRAFFICKING VICTIMS PROTECTION › § 7104d
Keeps current legal responsibilities for grantees, subgrantees, contractors, subcontractors, and other parties named in section 106(g) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 the same, except as changed by section 1706. It also does not cut back the Attorney General’s power to investigate these matters. Requires the Federal Acquisition Regulation to be changed within 270 days after January 2, 2013, to add rules from sections 1702, 1703, 1704(c), and the second sentence of 1704(a)(1). Those rules apply to grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and task or delivery orders on or after that 270-day date. Other agency rules in sections 1704, 1705, and 1707 (except 1704(c)) must be put in place within 90 days after January 2, 2013. Changes made by section 1706 take effect on the date they became law and apply to conduct on or after that date.
