Summary

The President must apply the penalties listed in section 8514(c) to every person on the required list. That duty does not let the President use those penalties against the import of goods. As new information comes in, the President must give certain congressional committees a list of people who, on or after January 2, 2013, diverted goods meant for the people of Iran—like agricultural products, food, medicine, or medical devices—or stole money from selling those goods. The list must be unclassified but can include a classified annex, and the public part must be posted on the Treasury and State Department websites. "Good" means the items defined in section 8801(a).
