The Secretary must update the Office’s computerized management information system within 12 months after January 8, 2002. The update must include 11 kinds of information, such as student enrollment, curricula, staffing, facilities, community demographics, student assessment data, detailed program costs split into parts, relevant reports, personnel records, finance and payroll, and any other items the Secretary thinks are appropriate. By July 1, 2003, the Secretary must finish putting the updated system into use at every Bureau field office and at every Bureau-funded school.
