Title 25 › Chapter CHAPTER 7— - EDUCATION OF INDIANS › § 276
The Secretary of the Army may set aside vacant posts or barracks to start training schools for nomadic Indian youth who have treaty education claims, if those sites are not needed for military use. One or more Army officers may be assigned to each school under the Interior Secretary, and money for general Indian education may be spent under the Interior Secretary’s direction at places Congress allows.
