Title 30 › Chapter CHAPTER 2— - MINERAL LANDS AND REGULATIONS IN GENERAL › § 48
Mineral lands in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota are open to exploration and purchase as they were before May 10, 1872. Except for chapter 3A, many federal rules in this title and one in title 43 do not apply. Bona fide entries since that date can be patented, and the lands must be sold like other public lands at the same minimum price.
