Title 33 › Chapter CHAPTER 52— - WATER INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE AND INNOVATION › § 3912
Provides exact yearly money amounts for the Secretary and the Administrator to use to carry out the program, with the funds staying available until spent: $20,000,000 for fiscal year 2015, $25,000,000 for 2016, $35,000,000 for 2017, $45,000,000 for 2018, and $50,000,000 for 2019. The Administrator is authorized $50,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 and 2021, and $50,000,000 for each fiscal year 2022 through 2026. Each year, up to $2,200,000 (for 2015–2019) or up to $5,000,000 (for 2022–2026) may be used for program administration and technical help. At least 15% of each year’s money must be set aside for small community water projects; if any of that set‑aside is not committed by June 1 it can be used for other projects. Up to 25% of yearly funds may be used for loans larger than 49% of a project’s cost. For 2022–2026, if the Administrator has at least $50,000,000 available in a year, up to $5,000,000 may be provided to State infrastructure financing authorities for certain projects, unless both State loan funds and water pollution control revolving fund appropriations fall below specified FY2018 or 105%‑of‑prior‑year thresholds. Any agreement using those $5,000,000 must state how much came from them.
