Title 34 › Subtitle Subtitle I— - Comprehensive Acts › Chapter CHAPTER 101— - JUSTICE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XXXIV— - CONFRONTING USE OF METHAMPHETAMINE › § 10663
The Attorney General must give grants to States, territories, and Indian tribes (as defined in section 10554 of this title) so they can run programs that help children who live in homes where methamphetamine or other illegal drugs are made, sold, or used. The grants must pay for work that brings together police, prosecutors, child protective and social services, health care providers, and other needed agencies, and for getting children out of toxic or drug-dangerous homes into safe places to live. Congress authorized $20,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2008 and 2009 for this, and the money stays available until it is spent.
