The corporation cannot sell stock or pay dividends. It also cannot give money to a political party or to a person running for public office. The corporation’s money and property cannot be used to benefit or be handed out to its officers or members while it exists or when it closes. The council of administration may approve paying officers wages or reimbursing actual necessary expenses. The corporation cannot make loans or advances to its officers or employees. If members of the council vote for or agree to such a loan, and any officers help make it, those people are each responsible for the full amount until it is paid back to the corporation.
