Summary

People who get education benefits under this law can also get help paying for national college tests: admission tests, tests that can give course credit, and tests that check prior learning for credit. The payment will be the smaller of the test fee or the person’s remaining benefit balance. The months of benefits used are prorated by comparing the test fee to one month’s rate—$1,460 for the academic year starting August 1, 2011, and later years use the prior year’s rate increased by the same percentage in section 3015(h).
