Summary

The scholarship pays the tuition and fees that the Secretary says are needed for your program. If you are pursuing a dual degree or certification in the two listed study areas, the award only covers the tuition and fees needed for the minimum credits to earn both credentials. The scholarship can add to other aid, but your total aid for a school year cannot be more than that year’s tuition and fees. A full-time student can get up to $15,000 per academic year. Part-time awards are reduced in proportion to your course load. You cannot receive more than $45,000 total, and you cannot get the scholarship for more than six academic years.
