The Secretary must send Congress a report on the Educational Assistance Program by March 1 each year. The report must say how many students get help in each named program (Scholarship Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, Employee Incentive Scholarship Program, Education Debt Reduction Program, Specialty Education Loan Repayment Program, and Readjustment Counseling Service Scholarship Program) and how many are in each type of health‑profession training. It must list the schools giving the training; the number of applications by health profession for the school year beginning that year and the total ever filed; the average amount paid per participant in each program; tuition and other expenses paid by profession and by school for that year and prior years; scholarships accepted and offered but not accepted by profession; and the number of participants who completed training each year and in total since the program (or its predecessor) began.
