§11136 Disclosure and correction of information

Summary

Require the Secretary (or the agency that handles these reports) to make rules so that if information about a doctor or other licensed health care practitioner is reported, the practitioner can get that information when they ask. The rules must also set out steps to follow if the practitioner says the information is wrong.

Title 42, §11136

With respect to the information reported to the Secretary (or the agency designated under section 11134(b) of this title) under this subchapter respecting a physician or other licensed health care practitioner, the Secretary shall, by regulation, provide for— (1)
(2)procedures in the case of disputed accuracy of the information.
