Summary

Each federal agency covered by this title must prepare and send the Director of the Office of Management and Budget one annual Government efficiency status report. The report must say three things: whether the agency met the title’s requirements; how it is carrying out efforts to save energy, lower energy costs, and cut greenhouse gas emissions; and how much taxpayer money was saved from the required improvements. Agencies must file the report when the Director asks, submit it electronically (not on paper), and follow related reporting rules.
