Summary

Congress can provide $64,635,000 each year from 2023 through 2027 to carry out this part of the law. If that money for a year is not enough to give every State the minimum allotment required by sections 290cc–21 and 290cc–24(a)(1), the Secretary must use the available funds to award grants to States so they can provide the services listed in section 290cc–22(b) to eligible homeless individuals. The Secretary does not have to give a grant to every State.
