§300x–64 Definitions

Defines key words used for the grant programs in this part. Program involved — the grant program under section 300x or under section 300x–21 (or both), depending on whether the State is applying for or getting a grant. Funding agreement — for a grant under section 300x, it means what section 300x–8 says; for a grant under section 300x–21, it means what section 300x–34 says. Comptroller General — the Comptroller General of the United States. State — normally means each State, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories, except as sections 300x–7(c)(5) and 300x–33(c)(5) say otherwise. Territories of the United States — Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Virgin Islands, Palau, the Marshall Islands, and Micronesia. Interim services — short-term health and harm-reduction help given to someone denied immediate entry to a substance use disorder treatment program until they can be admitted.
