§315m–4 Disposition of receipts; availability for leasing of land

Summary

Money from 315m–2 must go into the U.S. Treasury. Congress can allow it to be used for leasing under 315m–1–315m–4, but it cannot be paid out under 315i or 315j.

Title 43, §315m–4

All moneys received by the Secretary of the Interior in the administration of leased lands as provided in section 315m–2 of this title shall be deposited in the Treasury of the United States as miscellaneous receipts, but are made available, when appropriated by the Congress, for the leasing of lands under sections 315m–1 to 315m–4 of this title and shall not be distributed as provided under section 315i and 315j of this title.
