Title 43 › Chapter CHAPTER 12— - RECLAMATION AND IRRIGATION OF LANDS BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER VI— - WATER RIGHT APPLICATIONS AND LAND ENTRIES › § 442
Any land assignment made between June 23, 1910, and January 1, 1913, is treated as valid if the person who assigned it had filed satisfactory final proof, the buyer purchased it believing the assignment was valid under section 441, and no one else had a valid claim in the meantime. The buyer gets the land under the rules of section 441, even if the original entry had been split into farm units and the part assigned was canceled before final proof. All these assigned entries must follow the limits and rules of the Reclamation Act and its amendments. To receive a patent, confirmed assignees must make the required proof by May 8, 1916.
