The Archivist must send Congress a report every January and whenever else needed. The report must explain how the National Archives and Records Administration, the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, and the National Archives Trust Fund are run and how money is spent (both Congress-funded and other funds); list research and publications by Commission and Trust Fund grantees with details on funds received and used; show, by account, the money, securities, and other personal property held by the Trust Fund Board and the reasons funds were transferred to NARA for use by other Federal agencies; and include the matters in section 2904(c)(8) of this title.
