The Director must, with the Administrator of General Services, the Archivist of the United States, the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, regularly review certain agency information-management activities to see if they are working well and helping agencies meet their goals. When an agency gets a review report, it must send a written plan to the Director within 60 days that shows steps and milestones to fix problems and improve performance. The Director must treat rules or orders from the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau the same as those from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
