Under the Director of the Government Publishing Office, the Superintendent of Documents must keep an electronic directory of federal electronic information. The Superintendent must give online access to the Congressional Record, the Federal Register, and other chosen publications, and run an electronic storage system for those materials. When possible, the Superintendent must include information that an agency head asks to add. The Superintendent must also talk with users of the directory and with other similar information providers.
