§1403 Enforcement

Title 47 › Chapter CHAPTER 13— - PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM AUCTIONS › § 1403

Last updated Apr 6, 2026|Official source

Summary

The Commission must enforce these rules under the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 151 et seq.), and breaking them counts as breaking that Act. If another agency (as defined in section 551 of title 5) is assigned a duty, the Commission does not enforce that part, and the Assistant Secretary may make needed rules.
