Summary

For purchases that support humanitarian, peacekeeping, or contingency operations, the small-purchase limits used for simplified buying are treated as higher. If the work or purchase happens inside the United States, use $200,000. If it happens outside the United States, use $300,000. This rule uses the simplified acquisition rules in 41 U.S.C. 134, 41 U.S.C. 153, and 10 U.S.C. 3015. Also, 15 U.S.C. 644(j) must be applied as if its maximum anticipated value equals the $200,000 or $300,000 amount above.
