The Secretary must review modern information technology and then build a system to monitor and evaluate agricultural research, extension, and education done or funded by the Department of Agriculture. The system must measure impact against the law’s priorities and goals, use technology to improve public access, and follow the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (Public Law 103–62; 107 Stat. 285). Money needed to carry this out may be appropriated.
