Title 7 › Chapter CHAPTER 115— - AGRICULTURAL COMMODITY POLICY AND PROGRAMS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER V— - ADMINISTRATION › § 9091

Last updated Apr 6, 2026|Official source

Summary

Use the Commodity Credit Corporation's funds, facilities, and authorities to carry out the chapter. The Secretary’s decisions under the chapter are final. No later than 90 days after February 7, 2014, the Secretary and the Commodity Credit Corporation must write rules to implement the chapter and the listed amendments. Those rules and how the chapter is run, including some 2018 Farm Bill changes, do not have to follow the notice-and-comment requirement in section 553 of title 5 or the Paperwork Reduction Act (chapter 35 of title 44). The Secretary must use the authority in section 808 of title 5. If the Secretary finds that spending under the chapter would exceed the total allowable domestic support levels under the Uruguay Round Agreements for any reporting period, the Secretary must, to the maximum extent practicable, adjust spending during that period so it does not exceed those limits. Before making any adjustment, the Secretary must report the finding and the planned adjustment to the House Committee on Agriculture and the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
