Possible Road for King Cove Residents

If a land exchange is approved, King Cove Corporation would acquire refuge land to build a noncommercial road corridor to provide health, safety, and subsistence access between the community of King Cove and Cold Bay, Alaska. The draft supplemental environmental impact statement evaluates that potential road and related land exchange.

Tribal Consultation Opportunity

The Fish and Wildlife Service will hold individual consultation meetings with Alaska Native Tribes and Alaska Native Corporations upon request and will consider their information, input, and recommendations in the supplemental EIS process. The agency commits to honoring government-to-government consultation under Executive Order 13175.
