Free public meetings with virtual option
You can attend the California Desert District Advisory Council meetings in person or join virtually at no cost. Meetings are scheduled March 29, July 12, and November 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific Time, and virtual participation options will be available.
Field tour attendees must cover travel/meals
If you join the Council field tours (March 28, July 11, or November 14, 2025), you must provide your own transportation and meals and register to attend at least 7 days in advance. Field tours start and end at the BLM California Desert District Office in Palm Springs, CA.
Accommodation request timing for accessibility
If you need sign language interpretation, assistive listening devices, language translation, or other accommodations, you must contact the BLM point of contact at least 14 business days before the meeting so the Department can process the request. All reasonable accommodation requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

You may submit written comments to the Council electronically or at the meetings, but be aware that your entire comment—including your address, phone number, email, or other personal identifying information—may be made publicly available.
