Temporary cut in river minimum flows
If you live near Auburn, Colfax, Grass Valley, or Nevada City, California, Pacific Gas & Electric is asking to lower required flows at the Lower Feeley (Carr) Lake dam to a 0.4 cubic-feet-per-second (cfs) target (down from 0.5 cfs) and to a 0.1 cfs minimum (down from 0.2 cfs). The change would be in effect from June 1, 2025 through November 30, 2025 to allow restoration work on the dam crest and upstream slope.
