Named Persons’ U.S. Assets Are Blocked
The Department of State published names of people who were added to the U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List. All property and interests in property of those named persons that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked as of January 10, 2025.
U.S. Persons Generally Prohibited From Transactions
U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the individuals added to the SDN List. The prohibition is in effect for the persons named in the Department of State notice published with an effective determination on January 10, 2025.
