Notice

Summary

The U.S. checked metal lockers from China and found two companies sold them for less than fair prices between August 2022 and July 2023. Because of this, extra duties (taxes) will apply to their shipments to keep things fair for U.S. businesses. This decision affects importers and helps protect American locker makers starting now.

Extra Duties on Two Chinese Exporters

If you import certain metal lockers from Xingyi Metalworking Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. or Hangzhou Evernew Machinery & Equipment Co., Commerce found these companies sold below fair value for the period August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023. Because of that finding, extra antidumping duties will apply to their shipments starting now.

U.S. Locker Makers Protected

If you manufacture metal lockers in the United States, Commerce's finding that two Chinese firms dumped metal lockers is intended to protect American locker makers. The decision applies to sales during August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023 and will result in extra duties on the named exporters' shipments starting now.
