Embraer EMB-145 inspection task correction
If you operate or maintain Embraer Model EMB-145 series airplanes (including -145ER, -145MR, -145LR, -145XR, -145MP, and -145EP), you must continue the repetitive inspections to detect cracking or failure of the rod ends and fittings of the aileron power control actuator (PCA) and perform corrective actions as required by AD 2006-20-08. This new AD supersedes AD 2006-20-08 only to correct an error in identifying a maintenance task number (as specified in the ANAC AD incorporated by reference) and keeps the existing inspection and corrective-action requirements in place without added costs or delays.
