If you own or operate barges carrying Certain Dangerous Cargoes (CDCs) on inland rivers in the Coast Guard Heartland and Great Lakes Districts (including the Illinois Waterway), you must continue to report position and intended movement and fleeting operations under 33 CFR 165.830 and 165.921. The Coast Guard asked OMB to extend OMB Control Number 1625-0105 with no changes to the rules or forms; the estimated burden remains 4 hours per year and comments are due by December 29, 2025.
