Temporary Vessel Access Rules for Regatta

On October 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., parts of the Delaware River in Philadelphia, PA will be a regulated area for the Philadelphia Cup Regatta. If you operate a vessel in that area you must comply with directions from the Patrol Commander or any Official Patrol displaying a Coast Guard ensign, and you may request permission to enter or transit by contacting the Event PATCOM or an official patrol vessel on VHF-FM channel 16.

Required Slow Transit and Wake Minimization

If authorized to transit the regulated area during the enforcement period on October 3, 2026 (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), your vessel must proceed at the minimum speed necessary to maintain a safe course and to minimize wake near the event area.
