State Cancer Registries: Two Electronic Reports
If you run a National Program of Cancer Registries-supported central cancer registry, you must transmit two electronic data files to CDC each year: a January preliminary file (one year of recent data) and a November cumulative file (from your first diagnosis year through 12 months past the most recent diagnosis year). Fifty central cancer registries (46 states, 3 territories, and the District of Columbia) are respondents; each file transmission is estimated at 2 hours per response and CDC estimates 200 annualized burden hours total.
Updated Cancer Data Definitions
CDC will update NPCR Cancer Surveillance System data definitions to reflect changes in national standards for cancer diagnosis and coding. CDC states no change is anticipated to the total estimated annualized burden hours or number of respondents and that all information is transmitted electronically.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is seeking nominations for membership on the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee (STAC), in accordance with provisions of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, as amended. The STAC consists of 17 members including experts in fields associated with occupational medicine, pulmonary medicine, environmental medicine, environmental health, industrial hygiene, epidemiology, toxicology, and mental health, and representatives of WTC responders as well as representatives of certified-eligible WTC survivors.

Funding amounts for years 2-5 will be set at continuation. The award is expected to improve HIV and TB clinical and laboratory service delivery at referral level hospitals and provincial- level referral facilities through the national government referral facility, UTH.
