New Class E Airspace at Seaside Heliport
The FAA proposes new Class E airspace at Providence Seaside Hospital Heliport beginning 700 feet above the surface to contain the RNAV (GPS) 17 approach and the CEKOG ONE (RNAV) departure. The airspace would contain departing IFR operations until reaching 1,200 feet above the surface and arriving IFR operations below 1,500 feet, covering an area about 3.7 by 10.3 miles to make helicopter flights smoother and safer.
