Temporary Sacramento River Safety Zone
If you plan to be on the Sacramento River near the Delta King Hotel, you may not enter, transit through, or anchor within 700 feet of the Delta King Hotel (38.582805, -121.506880) from 8:30 p.m. through 9:45 p.m. on December 31, 2025 unless you have permission from the Patrol Commander or other authorized law enforcement. The safety zone covers all water from surface to bottom in that circle during those times to protect people and property during the fireworks display.
Commercial Vessel Transit May Be Allowed
If you operate a commercial vessel, the Patrol Commander or an Official Patrol may, upon request, allow your vessel to transit through the regulated area when it is safe to do so during the safety zone on December 31, 2025 from 8:30 p.m. through 9:45 p.m. You must request permission and follow any lawful orders from the PATCOM or Official Patrol while in the zone.
