Buy America Waiver for Specific Steel Cables

Pedestrian Bridge Project and Federal Grant
The Port of Los Angeles received a $5,000,000 DOT grant under the FY2023 Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program for a Rail Mainline/Wilmington Pedestrian Grade Separation Bridge Project that has an estimated total cost of $62,620,000. The Project will build a pedestrian bridge over two mainline freight tracks that can also carry emergency vehicles and will connect the Wilmington community to the Wilmington Waterfront, improving local rail and pedestrian safety.
