Right to Reinstated Disability Annuity
If you are a federal retiree whose disability annuity stopped because you were restored to earning capacity, you can ask to have your benefits reinstated if your health changes. Form RI 30-9 (Reinstatement of Disability Annuity Previously Terminated Because of Restoration to Earning Capacity) informs former annuitants of the right to request reconsideration and lists the conditions and documentation to submit with a reinstatement request.
