DoD blue-collar wage schedules reviewed

Between March 17, 2026 and June 9, 2026 the DoD Wage Committee held closed meetings to review wage surveys and recommend wage schedules for appropriated and non-appropriated fund blue-collar DoD employees. These recommendations cover many named local wage areas (for example, Los Angeles, Reno, Houston, Miami, Jacksonville, New York-Newark, and others) and could lead to changes in those workers' wages.

How to submit written statements

Interested persons may submit written statements to the Designated Federal Officer (DFO) at the email or mailing address provided; statements about a specific meeting must be submitted no later than five (5) business days before that meeting to be provided to committee members for that meeting. The DFO will review timely submissions and provide copies to committee members before the meetings.

Meetings closed due to trade-secret concerns

All listed DoD Wage Committee meetings are closed to the public under 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(4) because they are likely to disclose trade secrets or confidential commercial or financial information. The closure limits public in-person or online attendance of deliberations that may affect wage schedules.
