FHWA Survey Asks Agencies for QA Data
The Federal Highway Administration will send a one-time survey to 56 respondents (3 FHWA Federal Lands Highway Divisions, 52 Transportation Agencies including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, and the AASHTO committee). Each response is estimated to take 30 minutes, totaling 28 hours, and the public comment deadline is June 15, 2026.
Survey Will Assess Digital QA Data Needs
FHWA will use a survey organized by a People-Process-Technology-Data framework to assess electronic pavement and materials quality assurance (QA) data, including uses and limits of QA data, implications for digital as-builts, ADCMS, lifecycle asset management, and gaps or requirements for a standardized data schema.
