Detroit River Temporary Closure
If you plan to be on the Detroit River on June 27, 2026, the Coast Guard will close the river from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. between Point Hennepin and the Grosse Ile toll bridge for a rowing regatta with about 400 participants. No person or vessel may enter, transit, anchor in, or remain in the regulated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or their designated representative; to request permission contact the Captain of the Port on VHF-FM channel 16.
