Operator Change on 65.59-Mile Texas Line

If you ship goods on the rail line between Greenville and Winfield, Texas, the current operator (Northeast Texas Connector, LLC) will be replaced by Northeast Texas Railway Company (NETX). NETX expects to begin common carrier operations after June 18, 2026, and NETX says it has served a list of all known shippers so they were notified of the change.

NETX Will Be a Small (Class III) Carrier

NETX certifies its projected annual revenues from operating the Line will not exceed $5,000,000 and that it will not become a Class I or Class II rail carrier. That means NETX intends to operate the Line as a Class III carrier.

Shippers' Right to File Petitions and Stay

If you are a shipper on this Line, you were served notice and may file a petition to revoke the exemption at any time. Petitions for a stay of the exemption must be filed no later than June 11, 2026 (at least seven days before the June 18, 2026 earliest consummation date).
