TUV SÜD Adds Japan Test Site

OSHA expanded TUV SÜD America, Inc.'s recognition as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory to include a test site in Yonezawa, Japan (TÜV SÜD Japan Ltd., 4149-7, 5-Chome, Hachimanpara, Yonezawa, 992-1128 Yamagata) effective June 11, 2026. This lets employers use products approved by this NRTL site to meet OSHA standards that require product testing and certification.

Site Testing Limited to Capabilities

OSHA limited TUVAM's recognition for the Yonezawa site to only perform product testing and certifications for the test standards for which that site has the proper capability and programs. Recognition does not transfer government authority and applies only for standards within TUVAM's existing scope of recognition.
