Certification letter required for early LPR application
If you are a T visa holder who wants to apply for adjustment to Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status within 3 years of receiving the T visa, you must submit a document signed by the Attorney General or their designee attesting that the investigation or prosecution is complete (see 8 U.S.C. 1255(l)(A) and 8 CFR 245.23(e)(2)(i)(B)). DOJ's new collection is for requests for that certification letter.
New DOJ e-form for T visa letters
